pluripotent human ES cell multipotent neural stem cell cortical neurons MSMS spectra

We have established cellular assays to model human nervous system development in vitro using pluripotent stem cells (ES & iPS) and their derivatives. From these cells, we generate proteome-wide datasets to improve the understanding of the cellular and molecular basis of normal development and disease states.

These projects define the comparative (phospho)proteomes of pluripotent and multipotent stem cells and derivative functional neurons. We provide quantitative data on the relative abundance and phosphorylation sites of proteins, to report the protein families and networks that are active and that change during development and pathogenesis.
